Amidst the Chaos: A Creative Burnout Journey Part 4

GETTING HELP:

I’m a big reader so when I want to learn something new about something the first place I turn to is books. As I’ve detailed in my previous posts about my creative burnout (here, here, and over here) I started to climb out of that dank, dark, pit of overwhelming creative fucking doubt and burnout and one of the ways I did it was with a bunch of books. I started with one and one led to another artist, or writer, or somebody else with insight on creativity or work process or hell, even how working 40 hours a week is bullshit and likely your boss is trying to steal your life (like mine was).

I reread a lot of these and have written in, noted, dog-eared, sticky-noted, and highlighted the shit out of these. Maybe they’ll help you along the way as well…
